Tupac's iconic album 2Pacalypse Now makes its first vinyl appearance as the rare release hits stores in the US on Saturday, November 12.

The West Coast legend, who recently received nomination to be inducted in the 2016 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, first released his debut album in 1991 which featured memorable singles, such as “If My Homie Calls”, “Trapped”, and “Brenda's Got a Baby”, and featured Tupac brandishing raw thoughts on current issues at that time: racism, police brutality, and poverty to name a few.

As the album reaches its silver anniversary this Saturday, Respect The Classics will be releasing Tupac's debut record in both vinyl and cassette versions, “The 25th&nb

Message from Kurtis Blow

Family, Friends & Fans,

Your overwhelming prayers, well wishes and support are very touching and greatly appreciated. I thank God I can write this letter. Moments like this make you reflect on your life, passions and purpose.

Whether accidental or with intent, the media tends to twist stories. The facts have been skewed here as well, but I pray we focus on the bigger picture. I was fortunate to receive God’s grace and a second chance at life.

Last week I awoke disoriented in the West Hills Emergency Room surrounded by a team of doctors and my family. A that time I was told I went into cardiac arrest from an extremely low potassium level. I passed out near my Woodland Hills home before being revived by three polic

Hip Hop reacts to President Trump

Last night, Donald Trump was (inexplicably) elected to be the president of The United States and a lot of hip hop musicians are understandably angry.

Trump triumphed over Hillary Clinton last night after securing enough electoral college votes to earn the Republican nominee the presidency, despite losing the popular vote and overwhelmingly losing the vote among the poor and middle classes, as well as minorities. In the weeks leading up to the election, Trump earned the ire of many black celebrities for claiming that African-Americans owed him a vote because "they have nothing to lose." Trump further earned the ire of the hip hop community when he criticized Beyonce and Jay Z for publicly voicing support for his opponent and for Jay Z's supposedly offensive lyrics

Pharrell teases 5th N.E.R.D. album

Nowadays Pharrell is best known for his solo rapping and production work, but there's still plenty of fans out there for N.E.R.D., the funky, genre defying band that Williams has been performing with for almost two decades.

N.E.R.D. kicked off as a side project of The Neptunes, the hip hop duo comprised of Pharrell and multi talented musician Chad Hugo. The group released four albums in the ensuing decade, two of which earned RIAA gold certifications. The group's last album was released six years ago, and since then Pharrell has mostly performed solo.

That will all change soon, as Pharrel promised that N.E.R.D. will return eventually.

Williams attended ComplexCon in southern California last weekend, where he confirmed the existence of a fifth N.E.R.
