You all know how Kanye West looks and sounds, and thanks to a tribute beer released by an artisanal brewery, you can get an idea of how Yeezy tastes.

Apparently the College Dropout tastes a lot like Dr. Pepper, which is ironically the only soda to have graduated from college and earned his doctorate.

Hip Hop Icons Star in Upcoming Comedy, "The Trap"

Atlanta-born trap artist T.I., rap icon Queen Latifah, and the multi-faced talent Mike Epps team up in the upcoming indie film, The Trap. The movie is said to be directed by Chris Robinson, who debuted in the box offices with hit film ATL back in 2006, which also starred T.I.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Queen Latifah and Shakim Compere from Flavor Unit Entertainment will play significant roles in the film’s production, along with Epps and Naptown Productions’ Niles Kirchner.

Tip Harris, better known as T.I., will also be producing with partner Brian Sher, under the flags of his own Grand Hustle Films franchise, along with Robinson taking part in the film’s creative design. Veteran producer

Wordsworth and JSOUL: “Blame It On The Music”

The team-up of JSOUL and Wordsworth introduced fans to their latest single, “Blame It On The Music”, which is also the title track to their upcoming album scheduled to debut on September 23rd under HiPNOTT Records. The song expresses the eMC rapper’s refusal to uphold hiphop culture as a supposed cause behind societal maladies.

A Tribe Called Quest is about to release their secret, sixth album

The hip hop world was shocked when A Tribe Called Quest's Phife Dawg passed away suddenly earlier this year. Yesterday, the band announced that they had recorded a secret, sixth and final album with Phife Dawg before his death.

Phife Dawg was one of the founding members of A Tribe Called Quest, one of the most influential alternative hip hop groups of all time. He passed away earlier this year due to complications from diabetes at the age of 45, shocking many in the music industry.

Happy Birthday Fat Joe and Nate Dogg

Hip hop fans across both coasts have a lot to celebrate, as today marks the birthdays of two rap legends: the West Coast's late, great Nate Dogg and the Bronx's own Fat Joe.

Long Beach rapper Nate Dogg was born on this day in 1969. Nate Dogg was one-third of the rap trio 213, which also featured Snoop Dogg and Warren G. He scored his first hit single with "Regulate," where he and Warren G helped popularize the "g funk" style of hip hop. Outside of 213, Nate Dogg had a long career where he collaborated with a who's-who of West Coast rap stars, including Dr. Dre and Tupac Shakur. Nate Dogg passed away in 2011 from a stroke. He would've been 45 today.

Frank Ocean's new album is here (finally)

After numerous delays on his previously announced Boys Don't Cry, Frank Ocean surprised fans with a new visual album, Endless, and the promise of even more new songs to be released this weekend.
