Wale heads to Nigeria for his new video for The God Smile

Wale headed to his native land of Nigeria in his latest music video for his song “The God Smile”. Born Olubowale Victor Akintimehin, Wale is the son of immigrant Nigerian parents. This particular track comes from Wale’s 2015 No. 1-selling LP The Album About Nothing. Following “The Matrimony” and “The Girls On Drugs” this track serves as the third-single from the record.

Problem releases Hotels 2: The Master Suite mixtape

Problem has released his new mixtape Hotels 2: The Master Suite hosted by DJ Hed. The project is a sequel to his 2011 mixtape, which was also hosted by DJ Hed. Problem spoke to Complex who helped premiere the tape, about his reasoning behind a follow-up. 

“I want to show the growth that me and DJ Hed have made in the last five years with him now being a power player on L.A. radio and the success Tha Diamond Lane has achieved,” Problem said. “Also, the music I’ve been making is heavily influenced by the sexiness and new found independence of women, so we purposely geared the Hotels 2 campaign around them.
