Son of Michael Jordan responds to Facts track by Kanye West

Marcus Jordan has brushed off Kanye West's diss track 'Facts', which includes a reference to his father Michael Jordan. West released it on New Year's Eve and the track uses Future and Drake's 'Jumpman' as a sample and has the rapper stating: "Yeezy, Yeezy, Yeezy just jumped over Jumpman" which is a shot at Nike from the Adidas-affiliated artist. Jumpman is Nike's Michael Jordan-related merchandise line. Marcus Jordan was the first of his family to respond to the line and took to Twitter on Saturday (Jan. 2) to make his thoughts clear. "Yeezy just jumped over @Jumpman23?? LOL I needed a good laugh to start my #2016," he tweeted. He then went on to post a GIF of his legendary father laughing. 'Facts' is West's third release of the year and follows behind 'All Day' and 'FourFiveSecond

RS Thought Box: How Dangerous Is It To Be Black?

Recently, Huffington Post came out with an article titled "27 Thing Every Black Person Must Learn Before Age 12" following the recent decision to not indict the officer who killed 12-year-old Tamir Rice. America has successfully reminded all black people, that no matter your age and gender, if you are black...your life is expendable. You are not of value, you are not contributing to society, and if you die in an unjust manner there will be no justice for you. The fact that there even needs to be an explanation as to why a 12-year-old child did NOT deserve to be shot by police, says far more about the state of this country than any article ever could. Just this year alone we had 1,125 people die at the hands of police, according to a tracking project by The Washington Post. Blacks are
