Kid Cudi will release 2 new albums before the end of the year

Kid Cudi just announced a few weeks ago that he was working on his sixth studio album, "Passion, Pain, & Demon Slayin'." That album still needs a little bit of "fine tuning," according to Cudi, but today he announced that he's already begun work on another album, which should also be out this year.

Kid Cudi announced on Twitter that he plans to release "Passion, Pain, & Demon Slayin'" sometime this summer, while his seventh album should drop sometime this Fall.

The recent shooting at a T.I. concert and the subsequent arrest of rapper Troy Ave has reignited discussion about hip-hop's negative portrayal in the media and its role in reinforcing negative stereotypes.
