Akrobatik aka: Bru-Tang Clan - Enter Tha 63 Chambahs

In just over a year and a half, Boston Bruin's Left Winger Brad Marchand has won a Stanley Cup and has become a fan favorite among Boston Hockey fans.  His cult hero status as a gritty player who doesn't take himself too serious has been elevated with the embracing of his popular nickname "Noseface Killah" and his references to his teammates as "The Bru-Tang Clan." To celebrate all things Wu-Tang and his own growing aliases, Marchand has teamed up with The Boston Sports Apparel CO. to design his own line of gear and with Boston’s own Akrobatik for a FreEP "Enter Tha 63 Chambahs" (63 coincidentally being Marchand's Jersey Number and the mirror of Wu-Tang’s debut album title). Inspectah Deck and 7L & Esoteric are Czarface

With his illustrious career spanning nearly two-decades now, it would be easy for Inspectah Deck to sit back and rest on his laurels; after all, he has helped create some of the best hip-hop music ever recorded. Despite his low-key persona, Deck carved out his own unique space in the Wu-Tang Clan, thanks to his stand-out verses from “C.R.E.A.M.,” “Protect Ya Neck” and his otherworldly verse on “Triumph” among many. Likewise, who could forget Deck’s contributions on Ghostface’s Ironman (“Assassination Day”), his many appearances on Raekwon’s OBFCL, GZA’s Liquid Swords (“Cold World”) or his collaborations with Gang Starr (“Above The Clouds”) and Big Pun (“Tres Leches” which also featured Mobb Deep’s Prodigy). Throughout Deck’s career, whether it wa

Public Enemy bring the noise for 25th anniversary

Not many music groups stay together long enough to celebrate 25 years, but that's exactly what Public Enemy did Monday night — and they put on a sold-out concert at the Grammys Museum in Los Angeles in honor of their milestone. Led by Flavor Flav and Chuck D, the Long Island, New York-based hip-hop group worked their way through a string of their most notable songs from their 12 albums, including "Bring the Noise," "Fight the Power," "Don't Believe the Hype," and "Rebel Without a Pause." In addition to the music, Chuck D and Flavor Flav also got the audience laughing with their funny, somewhat nit-picking banter. At one point, the clock-wearing rapper-turned-reality star started going off about radio being "too scared" to play their songs, to which Chuck D interrupted, "Ladies and gen
