At only 19 years old, Canva$ admits he has a hefty list of goals he wants to reach by the age of 25. But while he might look fresh out-of high school, don’t let that mislead you in understanding how seriously he takes his music. He has managed to maintain complete ownership of his publishing, royalties, sales, merchandise and touring revenue on every one of his releases, despite his young age. Once the project was released, the team at Genius began compiling information of credits and features, since Lamar himself kept them out of the track listing. Based on what the staff over at Genius says, untitled unmastered. features production and guest spots from regular collaborators like Terrace Martin, SZA, Jay Rock, Punch, Sounwave and Thundercat and contributions from producers like Swizz Beatz, Hit-Boy, Bizness Boi, Nard & B and A Tribe Called Quest’s Ali Shaheed Muhammad. As far as their influences go, they cite Arrested Development, De La Soul, Herbie Hancock, J Dilla, Big Daddy Kane, and a multitude of others as their top influences. Eshraque Mughal, better known as iSHi, was born on February 12,1981 and hails from Stockholm, Sweden. His career started in high school when he began playing piano and drums; piano he started at the age of 15 and drums when he was 11. Growing up, he listened to hip-hop, R&B, and dance-pop. In 2009, he signed singer Eric Turner to his label, 2Stripes Music, and later that same year he met British rapper, Tinie Tempah. Tinie had just started work on his album Disc-Overy, and flew to Sweden to work with iSHi. Their very first song together was “Written In The Stars”, featuring Eric Turner.
