Tech N9ne: Are You Ready for “The Storm”
Locked and loaded for his forthcoming album, The Storm, rapper Tech N9ne recently unveiled the album's 20-track list.
Scheduled for release on December 9, the album features a sizable amount of content divided into three parts, all reflecting different facets in the rapper's style. “Kingdom” can be characterized with a more contemporary vibe, as the second part “Clown Town” transitions into a darker tone. Finally, “G. Zone” takes a step into the life of a gangster.

Not one, but two hip hop legends celebrate their birthdays today: Detroit's own Eminem and The Fugees' Wyclef Jean.
On this day in 1969, Wyclef Jean was born in Croix-des-Bouquets, Haiti. His family immigrated to New Jersey in 1982, where Jean grew up idolizing Jamaican reggae stars like Bigga Haitian. In the early 90's, he met up with Lauryn Hill and Pras Michel to form The Fugees, the multi-platinum, Grammy award winning band whose influence is still reflected on modern hip hop to this day. Outside of the Fugees, Jean has enjoyed a successful solo career spanning two decades, earning himself multiple Grammy nominations. His latest single, the politically charged If I Was President 2016, was released just last week.

In a substantial press release, Mello Music Group announced the latest EP from North Carolina producer L’Orange & prominent indie rapper Mr. Lif, The Life and Death of Scenery, which finds Mr. Lif imagining an adjacent future called the “last society,” where culture has been smashed to smithereens and physical survival has taken precedence over art. Released through a partnership between Adult Swim and Mello Music Group, the duo’s latest effort opens with one of four addresses from “The Narrator” (played by The Daily Show’s Wyatt Cenac). Common announces tracklist, release date for "Black America Again"
Common is finally ready to release his highly anticipated eleventh studio album, Black America Again. The Chicago rapper announced today the album's release date, full track list, and showed off the cover art.
Black America Again will be released on November 4th on iTunes.
The Grammy and Academy Award winning rapper also unveiled a full track list for the much-hyped, politically charged new album, which includes collaborations with Stevie Wonder, BJ the Chicago Kid, John Legend, and more. The album will also feature multiple tracks with NYC singer-songwriter and frequent Common collaborator Bilal. The full track list is as follows:

.Paak and Knxwledge Return For NxWorries Debut, “Yes Lawd”
Following his latest studio album, Malibu, Anderson .Paak joins forces again with NxWorries partner, Knxwledge, for their latest project Yes Lawd!
The album is scheduled for store-purchases next Friday, October 21, and features 19 tracks which interestingly amount a run-time below fifty minutes. Also, the project catalogues no featured artists, challenging .Paak to showcase his rhymes over Knxwledge's deft production.
