"No Small Talk" is a standup comedy series hosted by DJ Cipha Sounds, as Tidal adds the first original comedy series to it's library. The first five episodes of the series will be available on November 3rd on Tidal with additional episodes being released every Tuesday.
Tidal is releasing the first episode for free to draw in potential new subscribers. The No Small Talk pickup comes less than two weeks after T.I. announced that the streaming service had ordered a second season of Money & Violence, a drama that Filmmaker Moe Verneau originally distributed on YouTube. New episodes of Money & Violence will come out in January and will have one week of exclusivity on Tidal. The entire first season of the show is available on Tidal with exclusive commentary from the cast.
Tidal initially placed emphasis on music videos, exclusive short films, and other videos to its subscribers. Tidal also made free live stream available for it's TIDAL X: 1020 festival, which featured performances from Jay Z, Nicki Minaj and more, and drew 3.3 million viewers.
