Gaining recognition in Hip-hop for numerous collaborative projects as well as his breakout debut solo album, Politics As Usual, Termanology returns with his latest project, More Politics.
The album is scheduled to hit stores and streaming sites on November 18th of this year, in a time very much different from his first album, dating all the way back to 2008. Nevertheless, Term rallies an elite team of wordsmiths and beat makers, coming together on what is shaping up to be the MC's “best album yet”, as told by long-term confidante, Statik Selektah.
Alongside Statik, the album features a myriad of rappers and producers, including Just Blaze, Q-Tip, Buckwild, Nottz, Kxng Crooked, Joey Bada$$, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, and Westside Gunn. Working alongside numerous iconic artists, Term shares his enthusiasm, “I can't wait to see how fans react to it. One of the most exciting things about working on a new project is connecting with people you haven't worked with before... All the producers I am a big fan of. Having them on the album is truly a blessing.”
With less than three weeks before the album drops, Term already allowed a glimpse of what's in store with the pre-release single off the album, “I Dream Big”, which features Styles P and Sheek Louch, and manifests in its own visuals directed by Myster DL under Ill Mannered Films.
“I've been a lifelong fan of The Lox, so having Sheek Louch and Styles P on my single is really exciting, not to mention Buckwild is one of my favorite producers,” said Term to Mass Apeal, “Rather than doing what people would expect from Term and The Lox, I wanted to make something creative and different. I went the conceptual route, writing about all the things I dream to attain, and Styles and Sheek did the same.”
