Duck Down Music is proud to announce a partnership with the talented Canadian MC, Shad. Duck Down will be assisting Shad and his Canadian label Black Box Recordings with marketing & distribution globally (outside of Canada) for his new album, 'Flying Colours,' http://smarturl.it/FlyingColours which is out now.
Watch the music video for his song, "Remember to Remember" to get a taste of Shad's uncanny skill (video directed by Justin Broadbent). The song, produced by Mike Tompkins, features Canadian electro-pop songstress Lights. The synth-heavy track was the first song Shad started working on for the album, and the last he finished.
"Remember to Remember" is a phrase repeated throughout the new album and an important concept Shad would like us all to embrace. "We know so much naturally as kids, like treat people well or human beings are not your enemy. We need to break down our own fears and prejudices, remember what you already know and don’t be distracted from the truth. -Shad
