Nas Unveils Release Date + Cover Art For "King's Disease III"

Nas has unveiled the cover art and release date for "King's Disease III," the follow-up to 2021's "King's Disease II." According to an Instagram post shared on Tuesday (October 18), the highly anticipated project will arrive on November 11 with executive production once again provided by Hit-Boy.

The original "King's Disease" album arrived in 2020 with contributions from Charlie Wilson, Hit-Boy, Big Sean, Don Toliver, Lil Durk, Anderson .Paak, Brucie B, Nas's supergroup the Firm, Fivio Foreign and A$AP Ferg.

The project debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 with more than 47,000 total album-equivalent units sold in its opening week. It ultimately won Best Rap Album at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards, the Queensbridge legend's first. Its successor, the aforementioned "King's Disease II," charted even higher, landing at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on the Top R&B/Hip Hop and Top Rap charts. It was also nominated in the Best Rap Album category at the 2022 ceremony but lost to Tyler, The Creator's "CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST."
