Kool Keith Teams Up with MF Doom for New Song “Super Hero”

Hip hop veteran and eccentric rapper extraordinaire, Kool Keith, will be releasing his 22nd studio album on September 16th. According to a story on Billboard, Keith will handle nearly all the production duties himself, however, the album will be enlisting help from guest rappers such as Edo G, Ras Kass, Slug, Bumpy Knuckles, Sadat X and the enigmatic MF Doom.

Yesterday, the MF Doom-bolstered track, “Super Hero,” was unleashed on the internet, and it's apparent that the former Ultramagnetic MC is still an incredibly formidable presence on the mic. He delivers his trademark tongue-twisting, stream of conscious raps over a spacey yet menacing electronic-influenced beat. Doom is certainly no slouch on the mic either, as he comes through with his own brand of zany, oddball rapping that perfectly compliments Keith's idiosyncratic style.

Two other tracks from the album, “World Wide Lamper” featuring B.a.R.S. Murre and Dirt Nasty and “Tired” featuring Edo G, are available for streaming on Keith's bandcamp page. Additionally, the bandcamp page has made the album available for pre-order.
