Kanye West will be performing live at a fundraiser for the US Democratic Party. NBC reported that the rapper will attend a Democratic National Committee event in San Francisco on October 10th.
The report states that the fundraiser will be an afternoon concert...hosted at The Warfield - a 2,300 seat venue - with tickets selling for $250 to $10,000 each. NBC went on to say that West is expected to perform songs from his new album 'Swish'.
West had previously announced his plans to run for President in the 2020 election while accepting an award at this year’s MTV VMA's.
He also repeated his intention, telling Vanity Fair he is "definitely" still running for president in 2020, but is against the traditional election where candidates face off against one another.
"When I run for president, I'd prefer not to run against someone," he said. "I would be like 'I want to work with you.' I think all the people running right now have something that each of the others needs. But the idea of this separation and this gladiator battle takes away from the main focus that the world needs help and the world needs all the people in a position of power or influence to come together."
