Jurassic 5's DJ Nu-Mark spins for music legends' birthdays

DJ Nu-Mark has posted a video to his official Facebook page where he simultaneously wishes some fellow music legends a happy birthday while at the same time reminding everyone why he's one of the world's most respected turntablists.

DJ Nu-Mark gave some of August's biggest celebrity musicians a hell of a birthday present with a special mix celebrating all the Leo's out there, including Chuck D of Public Enemy, KRS-One, Kurtis Blow, Positive K, Kaytranada, GZA of the Wu Tang Clan, Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones, Robert Plant of Led Zepellin, and the late great Isaac Hayes.

The video is the 4th episode in DJ Nu-Mark's Zodiac Tracks series, where Nu-Mark celebrates the birthdays of influential musicians by mashing them together in original mixes.

Nu-Mark is best known for being part of the legendary alternative hip hop group Jurassic 5, who recently released their first new material in years following a lengthy hiatus. He's also had a lengthy solo career, and has worked with and produced music for artists like Aloe Blacc and Bumpy Knuckles. He is currently touring North America and Europe as part of Jurassic 5's 2015 Summer Tour. He will also be performing solo in Beijing and Shanghai, China this September.

Jurassic 5's latest single, "Customer Service" is #7 on this week's RAPstation RAP50 chart.
