Chicago based rapper, Chief Keef, has implied he is retired from rap via Twitter. A fan who noticed Sosa’s lack of music tweeted at the rapper, “Did you forget you were a rapper ?? You wayuyyyy behind on music drop something.” Keef then responded, “I’m retired you didn’t know? To many n-ggas sound jus like me or saying shit like almighty would.”
Keef’s response prompted another fan to tweet, “FINNA HAVE SHOOTOUT @ MY SCHOOL BECAUSE YOU RETIRING.” The Chicago native quickly responded with, “Nooooooooooooo. Go be something everything but a rapper or a scammer be a ball player or a lawyer or a doctor.”
Keef isn’t the only rapper calling out his copy cats lately. Just last week, Future was performing in New York City when he made sure to give a message to those who have been biting his style. Before performing the song “I’m The Plug”, Future said “I’ma let y’all n-ggas know, it’s only one Future in this motherfucker and I’m really the plug, really.”
It’s unclear whether Keef was serious or joking about his retirement.
