Guwop Drops “Woptober” Release Date and More

As clocks struck 12 last night Gucci Mane announced the release date of his latest project,Woptober, as well as unveiling the album artwork and a peak at the records 14-song tracklist.

Reportedly Guwop’s favorite date, the album is scheduled to debut on October 17, marking only three months since the release of his critically-acclaimed post-prison debut, Everybody Looking, which premiered at #2 off the US Billboard 200, accomplishing Guwop’s highest-charting album.

Beyonce and Jay Z holding Brooklyn charity concert

Beyonce and Jay Z have announced that they will be headlining a Tidal sponsored charity concert at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Bey and Jay will be joined by fellow Tidal artist Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, and Lauryn Hill. Proceeds from the concert will be given to The Robin Hood Foundation, a non profit group dedicated to improving the life of New York City's poverty-stricken residents by funding food kitchens, schools, and job training programs.

Tickets for the event start at just fifty dollars, which is surprisingly low given the popularity of the acts involved.

The concert will see Jay Z making good on a promise he made at Tidal's first charity concert last year, when he promised that the show would become an annual event.

Wiz Khalifa gets Stranger on new track

Everyone loves "Stranger Things," Netflix's horror meets coming-of-age series, including Wiz Khalifa, whose new single is both named after and samples the theme song of the hit TV show.

"I took my dreams and made them into something, doesn't mean I don't wake up with the same hunger," Wiz raps over a beat that samples the memorable theme song to "Stranger Things," originally composed by Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein.
