Ice-T is typically lighthearted on social media, posting a flurry of jokes, words of advice and memes on any given day. But on Sunday (April 2), he shared what he labeled a "serious post." As the Law & Order SVU actor explained, his friend's nephew is missing.

He wrote: "My good friend’s nephew has been missing for a week.. He asked me to post this for him. Thank you."

Indie rap powerhouse Ceschi Ramos, NOFX's Fat Mike and The Get Dead's Sam King—collectively known as the Codefendants—released their debut album, This Is Crime Wave, earlier this month. The eclectic set comes with an unexpected verse from a West Coast legend—The D.O.C., who contributes to the infectious single, "Fast Ones" and its accompanying video.

LL COOL J has announced the return of the Rock The Bells Festival. The Hip Hop juggernaut made the announcement on Tuesday (March 28) via Instagram. The event takes place on August 5 at Forest Hills Stadium in the Queens borough of New York City.

Sly Stone will release his memoir, Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin), on October 17 as the first book to emerge from Questlove‘s new imprint, AUWA Books. The Roots drummer will also write the foreword for the volume along with Stone’s manager Arlene Hirschkowitz.

“For as long as I can remember folks have been asking me to tell my story,” Stone, who turned 80 last week, said. “I wasn’t ready. I had to be in a new frame of mind to become Sylvester Stewart again to tell the true story of Sly Stone. It’s been a wild ride and hopefully my fans enjoy it too.”
