A Tribe Called Quest luminary Q-Tip is joining a growing number of celebrities who are standing up for the Jewish community following Kanye West's harmful rhetoric. On Monday (October 24), Q-Tip shared an Instagram post that read simply: "I support my Jewish friends and the Jewish people." It's catching the attention of famed talent manager Guy Oseary, West's ex-wife Kim Kardashian and his former mother-in-law Kris Jenner, among many others.
West has put a giant target on his back since spewing several antisemitic comments across social media and in multiple interviews earlier this month. Consequently, JP Morgan, the CAA, Balenciaga and Johnny Depp's former attorney Camille Vasquez are among those who've cut ties with Ye.
Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel has also called for giant companies such as Apple, adidas, Gap and Spotify to discontinue their business relationships with the seemingly troubled artist. Only time will tell if West will be able to maintain his music and fashion industry reign.
