Kosha Dillz - What I Do All Day and Pickle

Rapper Kosha Dillz is worldwide. From Poland and the Netherlands to France and Israel, the Los Angeles-based artist shares his Jewish-infused brand of hip-hop everywhere he goes. His latest album, What I Do All Day and Pickle, offers a peek into his psyche. It covers his struggles with addiction, relationship drama, his Jewish religion, discrimination, and political unrest, shining a spotlight on who Kosha Dillz truly is. "With a name like Kosha Dillz, you can’t take yourself too seriously,” Kosha says. “It’s a blessing in disguise.”

Served up with a healthy side dish of humor, the 11-track album boasts beats by Jesse “Belief” Shatkin (Sia and One Direction), 19-year-old newbie YUC Beats, Nate Greenberg, Ski Beatz (Jay Z, Camp Lo), and Curtiss King (E-40, Murs, Kendrick Lamar). Guest vocalists include Matisyahu on “Dodging Bullets” and Flynt Flossy of Turquoise Jeep on the title track. As he continues his tour with Matisyahu and 311, Kosha Dillz just wants his music to be heard.

"This album was just a process in my daily life— what I do all day,” he explains. "It was me living in L.A. trying to make it by, while dealing with personal issues. The ‘pickle' is the added representation of not giving up. I got Matisyahu on he record for ‘Dodging Bullets' and added so many people for my trip to Ppoland after going to concentration camps. I truly believe the record always has a twist of Kosha Dillz, which has a taste of ups and downs, laughter, Judaism , Israel, addiction, recovery, and hustle. Meaningful records. Meaningless records. There is truth in all of that, and I believe it should all go together. Miko helped me with artwork to describe it best, so I must thank him for designing the physical look of the content."
