De La Soul is working on a follow-up to 2016's And The Anonymous Nobody as well as a third installment of the Art Official Intelligence series.
Prolific producer Pete Rock spilled the beans on Twitter earlier this week. "DE LA SOUL PRODUCED BY PETE ROCK & DJ PREMIER COMING IN 2019!! Stay tuned baby," he wrote.
According to HipHopDX, Maseo confirmed the two projects were indeed on the way.
And The Anonymous Nobody was nominated in the Best Rap Album category at the 2017 Grammy Awards. It featured guest appearances from Snoop Dogg, 2 Chainz, Little Dragon, Talking Heads' David Byrne and Rock, among others.
