Aesop Rock has dropped a new video for “All City Nerve Map,” another highlight from his recently released album, Integrated Tech Solutions. Not only did he self-produce the song, he also directed the visual. The album’s fictional corporate namesake (not a cult) was compelled to offer an official statement on the release: “People outside the ITS ecosystem often ask - ‘What does ITS™ actually do?’ and ‘What will I be able to do with ITS that I couldn’t do myself?’ Our answer is always the same: ‘All type of shit.'"
Integrated Tech Solutions features billy woods, Hanni El Khatib, Rob Sonic, Nikki Jean and Lealani amid a streamlined psychedelic production style. “All City Nerve Map” joins a broad and diverse catalog of visuals tied to the project, preceded by “Kyanite Toothpick (ft. Hanni El Khatib),” “Infinity Fill Goose Down,” “By The River" and the album’s inadvertent mission statement “Mindful Solutionism,” which charts humanity’s progress from the wheel to modern agriculture before taking a misguided hairpin turn into atomic bombs, cigarettes and surveillance cameras.
