2 Chainz and Lil Wayne have both collaborated on a multitude of songs, but now there is potentially an entire collab project from the two of them coming to listeners very soon.
"I've got ColliGrove, that I’m working on," 2 Chainz said on Rap Radar's podcast. "That's the me and Wayne project. That will be out, probably sooner than people think."
In 2012, Wayne told MTV News just how close the two rappers are to one another. "That's my best friend, that's my homie from back in the day,"Wayne said. "It's almost like - I don't wanna say it, it seem crazy when I say it, but it's like watching your child up there. It feels too good; it's a weird feeling."
Along with this potential collab, 2 Chainz has said he is planning on more solo releases. "One of them is actually my solo project," he explained. "It's gonna be called B.C., like B.C. and A.D. B.C. is 'Before Chainz,' obviously. A.D. would be like 'After the Dope Game,' After the drugs, everything is a different feel. But B.C. is done. It's Tity Boi. It's nostalgic. It feels good."
Fans of both 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne can now expect to hear brand new music from not only 2 Chainz but the dynamic duo together.
