This week on Planet Earth Planet Rap (#PEPR) we take a closer look at the Hip-Hop in Germany. This story is fairly interesting since the country was still divided in two when Hip-Hop was already getting global, and it’s not just the case in Germany, but when people are negotiating complex identities, that’s where the artform and cultural and intellectual movement of Hip-Hop becomes one of the key tools.
